Mark moved to Hong Kong in September 2013 to lead the expansion of the Framlington equities franchise in Asia. His role involves working closely with the distribution teams in Asia to develop business and products in the region and supporting the development of our Asian equity capability more broadly.
Mark joined AXA Framlington in 2006 and prior to moving to Hong Kong managed the Global Opportunities Fund and also co-managed the Global Equity Income fund, which he launched in 2011.
Mark was previously a top rated strategist at a number of sell side institutions including UBS Warburg, where he ran their Pan European Equity Strategy team, HSBC James Capel as Head of UK Strategy and
Commerzbank as Head of both Equity and Debt Strategy.
Mark began his career as an Economist at Williams and Glynn (now RBS) after graduating with an honours degree from Durham University in 1983.
